To keep your chakras balanced out at all times would be to not have any of life’s experiences. Everything we are going through is having an effect on our physical and astral body.
You can certainly minimize the affect, by not allowing yourself to have the big up and down reactions to life. This is what Buddhism teaches. If you don’t take a huge stance on right and wrong and good and bad, then you will not have the big emotional shifts that cause your chakras to open and close.
Certainly by doing a lot of personal work you can also keep your chakras healthier. The better you know yourself and love yourself, the better your health and chakras will be.
It is said that Jesus was an example of a person who had fully open and activated chakras. I think we can see the difference that it can make if that is obtained. However, it seems that there are very few people who can attain such a balance. It took a tremendous amount of effort, focus and teaching, for him to be able to accomplish this. Not many us can dedicate our lives in the same way.
